Bob Iger Provides Tipping Point For Metaverse

And just like that the dark metaverse becomes a blue sky Avatar ecosystem

One week ago, Genies company was part of Mark Zuckerberg’s anonymous Meta complex. This week Bob Iger, the recently retired chief executive officer of Walt Disney Corporation, announced that he was “thrilled” to join the Genies Board of Directors to “help @akashrnigam” empower humans to create the “mobile apps of web3” avatar ecosystem.

This move will help legitimize the metaverse for corporate America.

Genie.com helps people experience themselves without limitations and create their personal avatar for web3 — a sort of Amazon for faces, clothing and accessories.

So that you can become your ideal self.

And who understands the idealized experience better than Disney? The fact that Bob Iger has abandoned retirement (and Disney) to help legitimize the new metaverse for corporate America is big news. Perhaps even bigger than the metaverse in its current form factor.
