Creator Tina Wilcox Gives Animals A Third Life
In her book The Conscious Kingdom, Tina Wilcox has created a rogues gallery that is equal parts Charles Dickens and Tim Burton.
The daughter of a Milwaukee attorney and an MGM Hollywood starlet, Wilcox grew up in Milwaukee surrounded by three brothers, a sister, and a menagerie of animals that included a raccoon, dogs, hamsters, cats, fish, snakes and a raccoon.
