Heineken Celebrates Over 20 Years With James Bond
Heineken launches a new TV commercial today, starring none other than James Bond 007 star James Craig.
Heineken’s James Bond connection stretches back to 1997’s movie “Tomorrow Never Dies” and is once again involved in the upcoming 25th iconic film, “No Time to Die” which launches later this year.
“James Bond is the ultimate stylish man and is known around the world,” declares Hans Erik, Director of Global Heineken Sponsorships. “Heineken is a premium beer brand, which gives us common ground.”
The new spot supports Heineken’s global Heineken 0.0% beer brand, and was cleverly created by Publicis Italy. The commercial touts the theme “Once James Bond, always James Bond.”
“This is great new language that keeps us relevant,” says Hans Erik of the theme.
Great conversations happen around beer, and Heineken wants to make certain their marketing keeps people talking. Digital and social components to the new campaign — which is spread globally across 70 markets, include over twenty different assets for social media alone, according to Hans Erik.
