What Makes America Great: Election 2024
In times of crisis, major brands often look back at what made them successful in the first place. The United States of America is one of the world’s strongest brands. In a political period filled with so much rhetoric, reverse truths and controversy, what Nation USA stands for has become a confusing labyrinth.
Renowned brand masters Patrick Hanlon and Graham Clifford decided that it was time to strip away the politics and deconstruct the virtues of American democracy. To define the brand ideals around which democracy gathers, seems especially important during this 2024 Presidential election.
“We stripped away the polls and political rhetoric and went back to first principles,” says Patrick Hanlon. “What are the basic tenets of our democracy? Clear away the weeds and what remains? What are the points that we can all agree on?”
The result is a campaign titled WHAT MAKES AMERICA GREAT. This is not simply a response to the Trump campaign’s MAGA rallying cry. It is an introspective look at what differentiates the United States of America from other nations. And it goes back to the founding principles of 1776.
